Commercial & Development Leadership.   In 2023, Castillo expanded her professional footprint by launching Infinity Commercial Real Estate, where she serves as Principal Broker and Owner, providing strategic brokerage and advisory solutions to investors, developers, business owners, and nonprofits — with an emphasis on building generational wealth and community impact throughout Washington, D.C., Maryland, and Virginia. Castillo is also the Co-Founder of Infinity Capital Group (ICG). Founded in 2016, ICG successfully produces “Distinctive Development” residential projects throughout the Washington, D.C. metro area. With over 57 successful projects under her belt, Castillo prides herself on her diverse knowledge of all aspects of real estate: sales, leasing, development, and design.

Public Service & Prior Experience.   Castillo's prior experience includes appointment by the District of Columbia Housing Finance Agency's Executive Director to run the daily operations of the Agency's HomeSaver $20 million program. Castillo spearheaded the US Treasury's Hardest Hit Foreclosure Prevention Initiative. From 2004–2017, Castillo managed the daily operations of her former brokerages, residential and commercial real estate brokerage companies, and contributed to the branding and marketing of the company while building core business through residential & commercial clients and small- to mid-sized developers. Prior to this, Castillo served as Director of Marketing for Advanced Communications Group from 2001 to 2004, and from 1999 to 2001 built a solid network of contacts throughout Washington, D.C. as Press Secretary for Alcee Hastings, US House of Representatives.

Background.   As a native of Nicaragua, Castillo's story is one of achievement, growth, and success. Her tenacity led her to become an expert in relationship building, business management, and effective negotiation. She is also multilingual and adept at communicating with diverse groups of people, and is a 25-year resident of the Washington, D.C. Metro area.

Education & Community.   Castillo holds a Bachelor of Science in Broadcast Journalism from the University of Florida. She is the creator of ART BUZZ, a fundraising event that assists aspiring, underprivileged young artists, and coordinates bi-annual trips to feed the hungry and homeless Miskito Indians on the Caribbean Coast of Nicaragua. She currently serves as Board Member & Secretary of the National Association of Kidpreneurs; Treasurer/Board Member of Minerva Development and Co-Chair of the Financial Fortitude Committee for Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.; a Former Board Member of the DC Arts & Humanities Education Collaborative; a Founding Member of the Business Connection Alliance (BCA); and Co-Chair of the Real Estate Vertical for The BOW Collective, an invitation-only organization of the top 1% Black & Brown women entrepreneurs globally.

Media & Publications.   She is co-author of “Voices of Inspiration” (2015), her chapter entitled “Fearless in Entrepreneurship.” Castillo is Host & Creator of The AskCherado Blog & Radio Show, engaging audiences across Washington, D.C. for over nine years, and co-hosts the podcast Queens of the DMV: Real Talk & Real Estate on Spotify, YouTube, and Apple Podcasts.

Awards & Recognition.   Castillo has been named to the VOGUE list of Influential Women of Washington, D.C. (March 2026) and honored as one of the 50 Women to KNOW in Washington, D.C. (2026). She has also won the Washingtonian Magazine Top Producer Award for 13 consecutive years, the Wall Street Journal Top Agent Award for 4 consecutive years, the Compass Top Team Award for 3 years, the Corcoran McEnearney Top Agent/Team Award for 5 consecutive years, the Real Trends “America's Best” Top 1 & 1.5% Award for 6 consecutive years, and the DC Modern Luxury Magazine Top Luxury Realtors recognition for 5 consecutive years.
